On Monday, the court heard phone records and evidence retrieved from phones documented Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a family holiday in Portugal - is among the most covered child disappearance cases and is still unsolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One recorded message, played in court, captured Ms Wandelt declaring: "I realize I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I feel what I believe."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's voicemail expressed: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? What happens next? Is that not crucial for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a existence here in Poland, I just want to understand," the recording stated.

The panel was advised that via electronic messages, SMS messages and calls, Ms Wandelt requested a DNA test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a bid to show a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who compiled the data, told the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally reached out to family friends of the McCanns, as per the phone records.

On 9 October 2024, Gerry McCann responded to a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will continue and I will prove my claim."
